MLM Facts: Advantages


Nowadays, companies utilizing the multilevel marketing scheme are a dime a dozen. From world-renowned businesses to newly operating small companies, a large chunk of the business sector is partaking in this very lucrative business strategy. Twenty years into the business and still MLM, commonly known as networking or network marketing, is attracting new members all over the world.

Defined as a business strategy offering distributorship, Multi-level marketing uses direct selling of its products and/or services through its members (distributor) as a way to earning a sizable income. A distributor, often referred to as a downline, has two options of earning. One is through sales, where a commission is paid unto the member for every transaction or sale that is made therein. Second is through recruitment, wherein new members will make sales and recruit more members. Every “downline” would eventually become an “upline” through recruitment. All recruits made by the original distributor as well as those recruited by new recruits will work with and for that distributor, generating commission after commission from all the incomes generated by that team. It's an endless possibility for growth and success. Success reaped through proper selection of an MLM company and through hard work and perseverance.

Multi-level marketing has its issues, but it does have its advantages. Advantages that are the reason why it is regarded as a means to empowering oneself. It has become a lifeline for most. Here are some known advantages that are making MLM selling like hotcakes!

No academic skills required
The best and most sought after corporations nowadays require their applicants to be college graduates milling from the best schools. Job openings for non-graduates or undergraduates are usually those offering no further advancement. In MLM, there is only one question asked: “When can you start selling?”

Boundless opportunity for earning
You can go either left or right, as long as you are pushing the products and recruiting members, you will be earning. The amount of money you earn would only depend on your ability to make a sale, find new recruits and keep the cycle going. There is no limit on how much you can earn as a distributor or as an upline.

Own business; Own strategy, Own time
No deadlines to pursue! A distributor works on her own time and pace. Most members work from home with only their telephone as their business tool. Setting meetings, to introduce products/services, in their own homes.

No age limit
As long as you are of legal age and earning, there would be no forced retirement in the picture.

Multiple incentive programs
MLM companies usually have incentive programs for hard-earners. From vacation getaways, brand new cars to cash incentives, these bonuses are offered to deserving members.

Advancement
A distributor may not become the CEO of the MLM company, but any member can equal its salary! Well, maybe not in the first couple of years but its a possibility. A number of companies offers advancement in position depending on the amount of sales generated. From entry level, there are different levels where a distributor can pursue. Each level offers greater commissions and incentives. Some even offers managerial positions.

Product shipment
The business end of any transaction made is usually handled by the company. A distributor only has to concern oneself at making a sale, then leave product delivery to the company. Though a number of MLM companies, mostly offering cosmetics, has satellite offices located in strategic places for their distributors. Due to the large collection of products available, distributors (sellers) are encouraged to visit these offices to “shop” for client's orders.
